Ok, so I made this really great card for my husband for Fathers Day and with all my crazy work in the office and in the excitement to give him the cool(ok, he didnt think so) remote control sprinkler I bought him I forgot to give him the wonderful card I worked so hard on. So should I save it or give it to him tonight...hmmm

Today was my DH's special day and he spent it just as he had hoped...golfing. My son came over to make hm dinner as well and we girls disapeared in the afternoon so that he could have a nap. I on the other hand finished the room from hell as previously mentioned. So as promised here are the results:
woops ok well this was during when we discovered that playing with my daughters hair was way more fun. So here is the pretty look or as she calls it looking like her dad.
And here is what she calls pretty and I call ...well not so very much. Anyway back to work and this was the result.
TA DA! Check out that organized closet and clean carpet weeeee! I rock, ok well maybe not so much since I can't move my back now. Nothing a good bone cruncher can't fix.
Yes the Title has changed, but that is not what I meant when I said cleaning up. Today I have been cleaning my office so that all the materials I brought home from school will still fit in the tiny space. Ok maybe the space is not tiny, but after I put all my crap...um er valuable resources in there it feels really small. I have been at this for twelve hours and here is what it looks like now.
Ok so you see what I am up against with this room it is just not large enough. Right?

Today was th last day for the regular classes and were the kids ever wound up! I don't have young children at home, but mine are no less crazy about the impending summer weather.
here is proof that my daughter is loopy. This was the result of her getting a hold of my camera.
Oh my goodness what beautiful cards we created today. A new technique called backward siloquet was what was learned and everyone enjoyed it and beauty was created by all.
Sadly last night I discovered that one of the baby sugar gliders had died. I also realized I am not built to breed animals. I was so upset and my husband consoled me and said "hunny, thats part of being a breeder", it was there and then that I decided to retire as a breeder. I can't handle loss of any kind, but a baby, well thats just wrong.
After getting home today and going to feed my critters, the other baby was dead. I think they were to much for the momma.
Wow, last night my long lost fell of the face of the earth brother actually called me. I have to admit it was great hearing from him. I had tried calling and even had my kids try to get him on face book, but to no avail. After almost a year he final contacted me and it was nice. We had lots to chat about as we had been busy in the last year. I think we were on the phone for about three hours, but it seemed like a quick call.
On another note, I finally finished my Mom's B-day card and since she does not have internet, I can post it here to share.
Mom is a huge Elvis fan so I thought she might like this one and she does not care for ribbon on a card so I made sure that was not there. Inside it says "You Rock".
So this Saturdays class is a brayer class and I am so excited because brayer cards always look so pretty. I will be sure to take lots of pics to share. On another note, we have exciting news in our home, a new birth in the family occured on Sunday. The Momma surgar glider gave birth to twins 
or in glider talk their oop date was Sunday. I got a small glimse today, but mom and dad are still pretty protective.
I will hold one as soon as I can get away with it, until then its a look and don't touch situation. I have listed them for sale so we will see...
